How's this for cute? Seriously, is she not the most precious baby around? Our nanny felt a little under the weather today so I had to leave work (darnit) and take care of this angel baby. We had a fun photo shoot with the afternoon light shining in the kitchen windows. I need to dress up her highchair if I'm going to continue photo shoots with this background. The subject matter, however, is just beautiful!
Not that I wish illness on our nanny, but if she does call in sick tomorrow it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. I'd just have to make the sacrifice and keep this little girl occupied all day. That would make our upcoming 3-day weekend one day longer and that would be delightful. So let's see...Monday left early for pediatrician appt, Tuesday had long lunch due to a haircut, Wednesday scooted out at 2:30 to close on our refi, today it was a 2:30 departure. Hmmm, not so good with the billable hours this week, BUT my baby is healthy, mortage payments are cheaper and my hair looks fabulous. Not a bad week, I'd say!
Happy Friday Everyone!

now that is what i call a week. did you ever think for one second you would feel this way? i am sure you thought you would be running back to work at the end of your maternity leave. isn't it the most wonderful feeling in the whole wide world? it's like being in love, but with none of the pressures of sex and it really doesn't matter what you are wearing.
The EYES have it.
