Quack Quack

Mommy and baby had our first unaccompanied outing yesterday. Success! It was a beautiful day - mid 70's and no humidity. Is this August in Charlotte or have I been transported to Maine? I'm not complaining. We had a great time strolling around the lake and on the greenway. I managed to get her in the carseat, get the carseat in the car, out of the car, in the stroller, out of the stroller, back in the car, back out of the car, back in the house, and out of the carseat all by myself. You're exhausted just reading about it aren't you. Well worth it though. Here she is enjoying the ducks. Well, she doesn't actually know the duck is there or what a duck is but surely she heard the quacking.

Speaking of quacking...I just downloaded the cutest app for my iPhone -- it's an animal slide show for babies - shows different animals and makes the animal sound. Too funny. Sarah Beth is fascinated by my iPhone so I thought I'd make it educational for her instead of waving my facebook homepage in front of her face.

Speaking of iPhones...I'm so impressed with the photo quality of the cameraphone...both of these pics are taken with my phone. I have $1500 dollars worth of fancy camera equipment and my flippin' iPhone pictures look just as good half the time.

Speaking of pictures...here's a closeup of my happy little baby during our walk. Isn't she the cutest? She has the longest eyelashes ever...Brooke Shields could apply a whole case of Latisse and not come close to our girl's gorgeous lashes. Blink these, Brooke!
