The nursery is ready!

I'm going to try this blog thing to post pictures and give updates of our new adventure that we're embarking on. Today we are t-minus 4 days and counting until Miss Sarah Beth Katherine's arrival. And we are counting. I still feel pretty good, but now that everything is ready for baby we are ready to get going!

We're very proud of our finished nursery:

I made the name thing and Kurt had the brilliant idea to hang the letters from a curtain rod. Cute, huh? Here are some more pictures...

We got the crib from http://www.cribs.com/ and the bedding and curtains from http://www.babybedding.com/. The rug was a find from a local furniture warehouse and the rocker and little table were finds from an antique store.

The changing table is an antique sideboard that I've had for several years. We repainted it and added new pulls. The picture frames are awaiting close-ups of baby!

I refinished this dresser years ago - looks great in Sarah Beth's room. The artwork is courtesy of my nephew Ryan.

The diaper cake my Mom made. So cute! I hate to dismantle it but diapers will certainly be in demand around here shortly.

Baby's first patent leather shoes! Appropriately a gift from her stylish Great-grandma.
